DEVICE FOR URGENT MEDICAL SORTING OF VICTIMS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: medical liquidation of consequences of calamities. SUBSTANCE: device enables simultaneously and opportunely effecting automated medical sorting of victims directly on the first level of medical activity by way of estimating and predicting gravity of psycho-physiological state, survival ability, consequences and duration of traumatic shock after mechanical and thermal (burns) injuries. Device delivers right recommendations regarding infusion-transfusion therapy with use of needed blood substitutes, urgently arriving at optimal decisions regarding salvation and evacuation of victims and rendering them primary assistance according to urgent indications. In addition, device enables formation, recording, reading, storage, and treatment of individual registerable information on victims (injured) as well as representation, registration, and delivery into print of medical registered data, generalized bulletins, and victim bulletins. Novelty consists in introducing sorting assemblage distributing victims into groups according to criterion of assistance need. EFFECT: accelerated reanimation and antishock measures. 2 dwg, 6 tbl
