FIELD: alpinist insurance equipping. SUBSTANCE: carbine has oval power clip 1 and spring-loaded catch 2 with coupling 3. One loop 4 of clip is bent to clip so as to define wedge-shaped slot 5 between their planes, with angle α of wedge-shaped slot not exceeding 10 deg. Radius of joint of these parts of clip is less than half the radius of rope. Spring-loaded catch 2 may be disposed on bent loop. In case user falls, rope 9',9, gets into wedge-shaped slot 5 and is braked. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and enhanced reliability in operation by reduced force applied to carbine fastening point, with braking force applied to user being retained. 4 cl, 6 dwg
