FIELD: exercising equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has vertical wall, upper and lower brackets mounted on vertical wall and pivotally connected with relief plate, which is in cooperation with load made in the form of parametrical model of climber. Relief plate is equipped with length variation compensator and is positioned so that its angle of inclination may be changed by means of lower bracket, which is provided with row of receptacles for attachment on vertical wall. Upper bracket fixed to upper part of vertical wall is made in the form of horizontal strip, along which cart with drive engine is movable. Drive drum is positioned on output shaft of drive engine and connected through mounting roller by means of drive tie-rod 16 with release coupling adapted for holding load made in the form of parametrical model of climber. One end of flexible tie-rod is fixed to said model and other end defining path of safety insurance chain is held by climber providing safety insurance. Path of safety chain is provided by location of flexible tie-rod through hooks fixed on supports made in the form of electromagnetic washers arranged in rows inside openings in relief plate. Hooks are disconnected from relief plate under the action of load proportional to strength of corresponding type of hook for simulating safety insurance chain under test. Release coupling is made in the form of two levers with spindles brought apart and connected with spacer plank, which is connected to drive tie-rod. Lower catches of said levers are engageable with opposite slots in lug of model of climber. Each of levers is positioned for rotation around its axis, when its upper end abuts against relief plate protrusion, and for releasing parametrical model of climber. Apparatus is used as exercising device for simulating safety insurance for climbers and construction workers. EFFECT: increased efficiency and provision for safe exercising. 2 cl, 5 dwg
