FIELD: transport engineering; coupling of truck-tractor with vehicle to be towed with crews staying in vehicles in zones of contamination and fire. SUBSTANCE: device has towing ropes 10 and 12 connected by some ends with truck-tractor body and foot 4 and traction winch 14 mounted on truck-tractor body 1. Lever 6 with sheave of pulley block is installed on foot. Grips 7 and 11 for towing ropes are arranged on ends of lever. Each grip is provided with through longitudinal slot in its lower part. Clamp 9 for loop of other end of towing rope is arranged inside grip for fixing, displacement along longitudinal axis and turning around the axis. Release of ropes from grips takes place after coupling and tensioning of towing ropes owing to difference in sizes of slot, diameter of clamp and rope.
