Screen packing device 14 passes one type 17 of flexible packing material through clearance 16 between feed conveyor 12 and outlet conveyor 13 across direction of movement of transported articles. Second flexible packing tape 18 moves together with articles in one direction with the latter. Wrapping of articles by tape 17 is carried out together with wrapping by tape 18.
