FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying the following composition of foam plastic surface, wt.-%: water glass 83-84; carbamideformaldehyde resin 5-8 and synthetic butadienestyrene latex 8-12. Components were stirred for 10 min and applied of foam plastic surface by spraying at 18-20 C followed by drying at 18-20 C for 24 h. Properties: compression limit strength is 2.2-2.6 kgf/cm2, heat stability is 310 C, water absorption for 24 h is 0.2-0.2 wt.-%. EFFECT: enhanced quality of plastic, improved method of making. 1 tbl
