GAS AND LIQUID FLOWMETER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gas and liquid flowmeter has case 1, diaphragm 2 dividing case into two spaces 3, 4, each being connected by valves 5, 6, 7 to inlet 8 and outlet 9 holes in case controlled by change-over mechanism, mechanical counter 10 set in motion by ratchet-wheel 11 from lever 12. Flowmeter is fitted with second change-over mechanism. Change-over mechanisms include ring cheeks 13 attached to shaped diaphragm. Two supports 14 are anchored on checks over diameter. The other end of each support carries joint-slider 15 enabling breaking lever 16 to be moved. One end of lever is terminated by limiter 17, its other end is terminated with ball support 18 resting against spherical recess in base 19 of spring throw-over lever and lever of ratchet-wheel is linked up to breaking lever. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and accuracy of flowmeter. 1 dwg
