FIELD: optical spectral instruments. SUBSTANCE: method for single-channel absorption spectrometry involves generation of beam which spectrum has alternating parts of waves which are absorbed by components to be analyzed in different ways. Alternation of ratio provides linear independence of combinations of said parts. This beam is run through analyzed medium and total response light beam is detected by photodetector for each linear-independent alternation with respect to part of its spectrum. Such alternations and detection of light beam that has been passed through medium in amount which is greater than number of analyzed components provides possibility of their unambiguous detection. EFFECT: increased precision. 2 dwg
