FIELD: technical physics, determination of concentration of chemical elements in process of spectral measurements of various solutions. SUBSTANCE: method of spectral measurements uses atomic absorption of radiation in single-beam circuit with due account of non-selective absorption of pulses of radiation source different by amplitude that are periodically consistent and directly bordering one on another. Given spectrophotometer is based on employment of atomic absorption and has spectral lamp, pulse power supply source of lamp, lighting system, spray gun, monochromator, electron system made of photoelectric multiplier with preamplifier, analog circuit for isolation, registration and processing of signals, control pulse former, commutation elements, input amplifiers, source of constant bias voltage, time interval-to-digital code converter, computer that incorporates processor, display, keyboard and printer as minimum.
