FIELD: measurement technology; analyzing multicomponent liquids including analysis of water and salt content in water-oil emulsions. SUBSTANCE: each electrode of measuring cell 1 is made in the form of piezoelectric-crystal plate with two plates 4 and dielectric sound-permeable coating 5; one of piezoelectric crystal plates functions as ultrasound emitter 2 and other one, as its detector 3. Measuring cell 1 filled with analyzed liquid and inserted in positive feedback circuit of amplifier 6 alternately functions as acoustic and electric cavity depending on state of controlled switches 7 and 8. Signals go at acoustic and electric resonance-tuned liquid frequencies to digital computer 10 wherein set of two equations with two unknowns are solved to determine water and salt content of water-oil emulsion. Periodic effect of ultrasound prevents deposition of salts and wax in clearance between piezoelectric crystal plates. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy. 1 dwg
