FIELD: magnetic measurements; flux-gate magnetometers. SUBSTANCE: device has flux gate with copper-wire metering winding and field winding connected to generator outputs, amplifier- converter unit with resistor in feedback circuit connected to first input of measuring unit and to resistive voltage divider; in addition, it is provided with two resistors; value of first resistor equals rating of feedback circuit resistor and that of second resistor equals resistance of metering winding copper wire; outputs of metering winding and resistive divider are connected, respectively, through filter and through switch to first and second inputs of differential amplifier whose output is connected to second input of measuring unit and, through variable resistor, to metering winding output. EFFECT: provision for correcting device error brought in due to ambient temperature variations within flux gate by automatic monitoring of voltage variations across temperature-dependent resistance of metering winding copper wire and provision for temperature measurement. 1 dwg
