FIELD: fiber-optical communication lines. SUBSTANCE: device which is connected in series to line optical fiber 1, has light pumping source 6, dichroic connection which has two inputs, one of which is connected to light pumping source 6 and another one to carrier signal emitter 2. Output of dichroic connection 4 is connected to one terminal of active optical fiber 7, which has fluorescent doping in its core which emits in bandwidth of signal to be transmitted and is pumped by wavelength of pumping source 6. Fiber 7 is located for at least 70 % of its length in bent configuration 11 which curvature radius corresponds to spreading of just one basic mode in fiber but without transmission of higher modes of pumping signal. Active optical fiber 7 in rectilinear configuration provides possibility to transmit light in one mode for transmission signal wavelength and in several modes for pumping wavelength.
