FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, devices for surgery; applicable in noninvesive surgery in case of oncologic diseases of internal organs featuring a low-efficiency of absorption of energy of ultrasonic vibrations, for example, the thyroid gland. SUBSTANCE: the device uses a piezoelectric focusing radiator of ultrasound made in the form of a bowl and connected to an AC ultrasonic-frequency generator for controlling the voltage characteristics during excitation, and installed on a container with contact liquid, whose application surface is made in the form of a flexible membrane, located on the surface of the action object; the piezoelectric element of the ultrasound focusing radiator has a constant focal length at a variable thickness; its maximum-to-minimum thickness ratio equals 1.01 to 1.15; the AC ultrasonic generator is made for frequency control, with the maximum-to-minimum frequency ratio being within 0.01 to 1.15. EFFECT: expanded ability to raise the dose of ultrasonic energy required for an irreversible transformation (decay) within strictly localized limits of oncologically affected sites of biologic tissue with a low effect of its absorption without injuring the adjoining healthy tissue, with an essentially higher efficiency of absorption of ultrasonic energy inclusive. 3 dwg
