FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: instrument is used for correct evaluation of ultrasonic exposure dose. Instrument has power supply unit and series-connected ultrasonic master oscillator, modulator, power amplifier, and radiator connected to it. Control device, outputs of which are connected to ultrasonic master oscillator and modulator is also connected to power supply unit. Series- connected generator of linearly rising voltage, comparator, device of reference signal access-storage, threshold device and signalling device are also connected to instrument. Measuring resistor is connected in series with radiator. Comparator, access-storage device and threshold device are connected with their second inputs to divider formed by radiator and measuring resistor. Control device input is connected to second output of threshold device. Instrument circuit allows automatic control of radiator acoustic contact with medium at any level of therapeutic output power and protection against piezoradiator plate overheating.
