FIELD: alcohol industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves cooking out alcohol from brew in brew or brew-epuration column with transferring ethyl alcohol and accompanying components, into fusel distillate together with vapors from these column and liquid fractions from condenser of carbon dioxide separator and alcohol trap. Brew distillate is purified from head and intermediate components, including those of fusel oil, in epuration column using hydroselection technique. Epurate is rectified in alcohol column with bleeding fusel oil fractions, fusel alcohol and non-pasteurized alcohol. Fusel oil fractions and fusel alcohol are rectified in fusel column with bleeding fusel from accumulator section. Ethanol is additionally purified by bleeding fusel/ether/aldehyde/methanol from condenser of carbon dioxide separator and condenser and alcohol trap of brew or brew-epuration column. Brew distillate is subjected to epuration in epuration column cooking part of which is separated by hollow cylindrical insertion into two zones. In the upper zone, methanol, esters, aldehydes, and other head side products are cooked from alcohol, concentrated in concentration part of epuration column and its dephlegmator, and withdrawn from condenser. In the lower zone, fusel oil components and other impurities are cooked out from alcohol, stripped from hollow insertion with steam used for feeding and heating additional column operating with hot water fed onto its upper plate. Fusel oil components and other impurities are concentrated in this column and its dephlegmator and withdrawn from condenser together with fraction, which, together with fractions from condensers of brew or brew- epuration column, carbon dioxide separator, and alcohol trap additionally feed fusel column. From the 28-36th plates, fraction of propyl alcohols, and from condenser of this column, methanol/ether/aldehyde fraction are taken off, and the two fraction in common with fractions from condensers of epuration and alcohol columns are used to feed distillation column. Into the middle zone of cooking part of distillation column, hot water is introduced. From the condenser of this column, head fraction concentrate is withdrawn; from liquid phase of plate over hot water inlet propyl alcohol concentrate is taken off; and from the still, water-alcohol liquid is withdrawn and directed into original brew. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
