FIELD: alcohol industry. SUBSTANCE: alcohol is digested from brew in brew-epuration column while simultaneously removing associated impurities from brew distillate by way of tapping out methanol-ester-aldehyde fraction from condenser of closed column, which is fed and heated with vapor from the top plate and fusel-ester-aldehyde-methanol fractions from the condenser of carbon dioxide separator and alcohol trap. Epuration of brew distillate is carried out in epuration column into which hot water is supplied onto the top tray and fusel-ester-aldehyde-methanol fraction is tapped out from its condenser. Epurate is subjected to rectification in alcohol column to bleed fractions of fusel oil, fusel alcohol, and non-pasteurized alcohol, whereas fractions from condensers of closed and alcohol columns are run off in distillation column, which receives hot water into the middle zone of its digestion section. Concentrate of head fraction is tapped out from condenser of distillation column and concentrate of propyl alcohols is tapped out from liquid phase of the plate disposed over the hot water inlet, whereas water-alcohol liquid is returned from the boiler into brew. Rectified alcohol is additionally purified to remove methanol, esters, aldehydes, and other head impurities in methanol column that is heated through external boiler by epurated water- alcohol vapor from brew-epuration column. Condensate of this vapor is fed into the middle zone of digestion section. Fractions from alcohol trap and condensers of carbon dioxide separator are directed onto the feed plate of distillation column. Hot water for hydroselection is poured into accumulation shell section of distillation column, from which fusel oil is withdrawn. Liquid from the plate over accumulation shell section together with fusel oil vapor concentrate and fusel alcohol is fed onto one of the plates between accumulation shell section and boiler section. Ascending vapor containing fusel oil is washed out with hot water in the zone between above-mentioned plate and accumulation shell section to remove ethyl alcohol. EFFECT: improved quality of rectified alcohol and reduced power consumption. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
