FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed worm gearing contains hyperboloid worm and worm wheel in meshing with worm whose teeth are adequate to worm thread. Worm is formed by screw movement of generating toothed rack containing set of teeth getting into machine engagement with worm wheel and turned relative to worm axis at angle of tilting equal to helix angle of worm on pitch cylinder. Worm is manufactured at rotation and angular feed square to worm thread. Machine tool for machining of worms and worm tools for machining of worm wheels are provided.
