FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention provides removal of a part of exhausted gas preliminarily enriched with oxygen-rich gas, whereas amount of gases withdrawn from process is equal to sum of gas evolved in sintering process, which is added for enriching oxygen-rich gas, and air leak through leakages minus amount of consumed oxygen, recycling gas being enriched no more than to 24%. Recycled gases are fed under bell disposed under sintering tape thereby maintaining constant pressure, close to atmosphere pressure in the bell space by way of controlling amount of removed gas, and amount of solid fuel added to charge is reduced according to CO combustion heat in recycled gas. Versions regarding gas nature and from which air chambers gas is to be removed from process and from which is to recycle, and also versions of gas treatment to remove gas or solid hazardous impurities are considered. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process. 18 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
