FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, processing of polymetallic ores and concentrates bearing noble metals, arsenic, carbon and sulfur. SUBSTANCE: ores calcining for extraction of metals useful components is exercised with simultaneous arsenic conversion into nonsoluble compound in presence of additions like iron, and in presence of oxygen injected in beginning or during process in calcining furnace, for example, in furnace with circulating fluidized bed. Flying arsenic during ores calcining, as a version, is conversed into nonsoluble form in gas phase within two stages: after solid particles removal from gas phase and during contact of flying compounds with addition at second stage of calcining in atmosphere with high concentration of oxygen.
