FIELD: gold recovery. SUBSTANCE: invention concerns leaching gold using cyanidation procedure. Method is performed by way of periodically flooding entire surface of heap or its limited part to the depth 5-10 cm with solution intake 20-120 l/sq.m h for 30-60 min. Operation is conducted 1-4 times a day to create "piston" condition for solution and air to penetrate into heap to replenish lack of oxygen and increase filtration rate. EFFECT: sped up dissolution of gold and reduced cyanide and cyanic acid release. 1 tbl
