FIELD: carburizing engines at ignition of working mixture from external source. SUBSTANCE: prepared and compressed mixture is acted on by electric spark discharge at 10-20 deg after passing the top dead center of compression stroke and nature of working process is controlled by means of ignition system (at constant ignition angle) through change of energy of electric spark discharge from 0.1 to 1.5 J depending on speed of rotation of crankshaft and load applied to this crankshaft.
