FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines and is aimed at matching of rate of working process in the engine combustion chamber with the mode of its operation. The technical problem is solved by increase of energy accumulated by the ignition system up to (0.15…0.3) J, by reduction of range of adjustment of ignition angle and by double electrospark impact on working process: on the compressed fresh working mix, at its initiation, and on the products of incomplete combustion behind the flame front, for stimulation of oxidation-reduction reactions.
EFFECT: technical result of the method implementation is as follows: facilitated starting of the engine at low temperature, increase of power and acceleration performance of the engine within the whole range of variation of frequency of rotation of KB and load on it and possibility of use of the lean working mixes, and also multiple decrease of toxicity of the exhaust gases and essential decrease of specific fuel consumption.
