FIELD: small-arms ammunition and construction cartridges. SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a case with initiating compound placed in its flange; the initiating compound contains 30 to 45% of lead trinitroresorcinate, 3 to 8% of tetrazene, 5 to 15% of lead dioxide, 10 to 18% of antimony trisulfide, 0.2 to 0.8% of graphite, barium nitrate, the balance. The compound may additionally contain 1 to 5% of magnesium carbonate.
