FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pyrotechnic production, namely, to the production of non-mercuric percussion charges for percussion caps for cartridges of civil and service weapons. Non-mercuric percussion charge contains lead trinitroresorcinate, tetrazene, barium nitrate, lead dioxide, and silicon. The components are present in the composition in the following ratio, wt.%: lead trinitroresorcinate (lead styphnate) 38 to 42, tetrazene 1 to 3, barium nitrate (Ba(NO3)2) 40 to 44, lead dioxide (PbO2) 3 to 5, silicon (Si) 10 to 14.
EFFECT: increase in the ignition capacity of the non-mercuric percussion charge and reduction in the corrosive action of the combustion products of the composition on the bore of the weapon.
