FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: zipper-type fastener has two tapes, which may be conjugated by means of retaining members, lock with passages for tapes and tape lower end retainers formed from two parts having two guiding projections adjoining to lower retaining members of tapes. Lock is movable along guiding projections. One guiding projection is positioned in one passage, when lock is in its extreme lower position. Two parts may be joined by detachable unit, which urges other guiding projection to be moved and positioned above entrance of other passage of lock in its extreme lower position. Detachable unit may be formed as single oval-shaped button with larger axis oriented along longitudinal axis of fastener, or it may be formed as unit with two circular buttons offset one relative to the other along longitudinal axis of fastener. Detachable unit may be provided with three profiled plates, with two plates being positioned on one part of retaining member so that space is defined between them. Third plate is positioned on other part of retaining member so that it may be inserted into space between two plates, when parts of retainer are moved one toward the other perpendicular to longitudinal axis of fastener and in plane of tapes. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 10 dwg
