AUTOMOBILE DOOR INTERLOCK Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry; automobile antitheft devices. SUBSTANCE: device has cylindrical housing 1 with fitted-in cylindrical bushing 3 provided with ring slot 8 and through longitudinal slot 7 lengthwise the bushing. Lock 9, spring- loaded relative to housing, is installed in longitudinal slot 7. Lock can turn on axle 10 fitted in ring slot 8. Locking unit, installed for longitudinal displacement inside housing 1 and bushing 3, consists of two cylinders 4 and 5 connected for relative and combined displacement. Cylinder 4 has ring slot 13 and locking bead 12 for engagement with lock 9, outer projection for connection with interlock tie-rod and inner projection with fitted-on stop member 6 for limiting relative displacement of cylinders 4 and 5. Stop member 6 is arranged inside cylinder 5 enclosing inner projection of cylinder 4 and it engages with electric drive. This drive can be made in form of self-contained device or in form of device rigidly secured on electric pusher. EFFECT: provision of reliable holding of interlock in CLOSED position. 3 dwg
