Each rest is provided with tool holder 18 and top rest with tool head 17 located oppositely on elongated transverse slide 11. Lathe is also provided with linear motor 21 with tool holder secured on its housing. Linear motor 21 is located in hermetic casing 20 provided with cooling air circulation system.
