FIELD: devices for metal processing.
SUBSTANCE: lathe machining centre comprises bed, spindle head with spindle and chuck, linear guides, drives of main motion and feeds, support assembly including support installed in parallel axes of spindle of longitudinal linear guides of bedplate, transverse slides installed in linear transverse guide supports located perpendicular to the longitudinal guides of the bedplate, tool spindle head with its rotation drive about axis, perpendicular to the linear guides of the bed and the support, as well as a numerical program control device, automatic tool changing, cooling, lubrication and removal of chips. Spindle head is installed in additional linear guides of bedplate, perpendicular to linear guides of bedplate and support, and spindle tool head with drive of its rotation is installed directly on transverse slides.
EFFECT: higher stiffness and vibration resistance due to reduced number of serially connected movable units.
