FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing the raw charge made of argillite, clay and spent lubricant-coolant liquid, article making, drying and roasting. Additionally, cotton branches milled to the size 5-15 mm were added to charge. Prepared charge has the following composition, wt. -%: clay 70-81; argillite 9-10; spent lubricant-coolant liquid (above 100%) 0.5-1.0; cotton branches 10-20. Properties: raw- material plastic strength is (2.4-3.2) x 10_-6 Pa, defection percent after drying is 0-3%, that after roasting is 1-2%, mean mechanical strength is 101.2-107 kg/cm,sq, volume mass of article is 1384-1386 kg/cub.m, brick sort is "100".
