FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and can be used in industrial production of ceramic articles and construction materials, mainly ceramic bricks. Mixture for ceramic brick contains clay material and a mineral additive modifying said material in following ratio of components, wt%: low-melting clay 92–97, spent powdered catalyst for oil processing based on aluminium oxide 1–3, powdered wastes from production of glass fibre 2–5.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of strength and other construction standardised characteristics of ceramic bricks, fewer defects in industrial production.
