FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: straight-run gasoline fractions of gas condensates, petroleum, and stable gas gasolines are brought in contact with high- silica zeolite catalysts with simultaneously feeding methanol or with preliminarily heating raw material to a temperature by 50-150 C higher than reaction temperature in compliance with following math dependence: f(t) = F(j) where t is reactor temperature, 0 C, and j reaction cycle duration, h. Dependence is calculated using formula for mild condition: t = A -B^-0.2j + C^ - 0.3j^2 - D^j^3 where A, B, C, D are coefficients having following numerical values: A = 300-400, B = - 0.7-3.0, C = 50.0-10.0, D = 2.0-5.0; for severe condition: t = A + Bj + C^ - 0.3j^2 - D^ -0.4j^ 3 where a = 300-400, B = 0-2.0, V = 4.0-8.0, D = 1/0-3.5. EFFECT: optimized process conditions.
