FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reactors with stationary catalyst bed. Reactor contains heat-exchange elements constructed of two sections of different-length tubes, wherein heat carrier enters each tube from separate distributive chambers and runs out from common chamber. Ratio of tubes in first and second sections is (2-3):1. When as heat carrier raw material is used, tube plate of common distributive chamber from the side where catalyst is disposed has additional perforation to allow a part of raw material to pass and uniformly spread over cross-section of apparatus. EFFECT: improved quality of products and prolonged catalyst service life owing to increased isothermicity of process stages. 3 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
