FIELD: bullets of hunting cartridges for rifled weapon. SUBSTANCE: in the first variant the bullet has an envelope and slug. The bullet head is made with envelope trimming in the point and free space under the cut, open on the side of the cut, and has longitudinal grooves on the envelope inner surface. The novelty in the bullet is the selection of optimum lengths of the bullet head and longitudinal grooves in the envelope, as well as of the depth of the free space and distance from the envelope trimming to the beginning of the longitudinal grooves. In the second variant the bullet has an envelope and a slug and jacket located in it at specified quantitative relations. In both variants of bullets a composite slug may be made. EFFECT: enhanced injurious effect. 4 cl, 4 dwg
