FIELD: try-out of ammunition, caliber 23-30 mm, and acceptance of cartridge lots in the process of series production. SUBSTANCE: to determine Pmax, before filling the crusher gauge with mastic the piston is lifted under the piston pad; the templet together with the piston is pressed to the body of the crusher gauge by the stop screw, after that the crusher gauge is filled with mastic. After the gauge is installed in the barrel seat the templet is removed, and the excess of mastic is pressed out into the barrel gas escape duct filling it to the height equal to the templet thickness. After that 5 shots are made, changing only the columns, then the cycle is repeated once more, and Pmax is determined as the mean of ten shots. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 2 cl, 4 dwg
