FIELD: laser measuring systems; precision recording of entity movement. SUBSTANCE: use is made of passive spatial-amplitude modulator in the form of fiber-optic ring of n glass fibers with light-emitting diode inside it coupled through lens with light-reflecting member on end surface of rotating entity, quadrant photodetector joined with output ends of glass fibers of passive spatial- amplitude modulator, as well as four amplitude detectors, four integrators, two comparison circuits, two displays, two peak detectors, second adder connected to their inputs, series-connected flip-flop whose input is coupled with output of this adder, differentiating circuits, amplitude discriminator, two shapers, two electroionic switches, and amplitude selector. EFFECT: enlarged informative capacity concerning rotation parameters due to transmission of data not only on instant speed, current phase, start of reading, but also on direction of rotation while maintaining adequate measurement accuracy. 2 dwg
