FIELD: optoelectronics. SUBSTANCE: photoelectric sensor increases measurement precision thanks to implementation of stabilization of amplitude characteristic owing to precise automatic correction. Drift is eliminated in sensor due to use of differential switching on of quadrants of photodiode. Use of quadrant photodiode and one light emitting diode in each channel diminishes errors of instability of channels. Automatic referencing of amplitude characteristics of fine and coarse channels is carried out because of correction. EFFECT: increased measurement precision. 2 dwg
