FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has retunable carrying frequency generator, controllable generators of rectangular and triangular low frequency signals, modulator, adder, unipolar pulse shaper, interrupter, commutation unit, two-channel power amplifier connected with its outputs to action electrodes, two-channel converter, peak detector, integrator, analog-to-digital converter and current indication unit, comparator, safety unit, timer and acoustic warning unit. The device treats patient with alternating current of adjustable frequency and modulation depth so that the treatment can be carried out in continuous and intermittent mode through one or two canals. Treatment with rectangular pulses with unipolar pulses is also applicable through one or two canals with controlled parameters or direct (galvanic) current.
