FIELD: electric measurement technology; electricity measurements in ac circuit for commercial accounting. SUBSTANCE: method involves shaping total signal from signals proportional, respectively, to sum and difference of currents flowing in phase and neutral conductors of load circuit, shaping power signal from load voltage signal, as well as signal characterizing load current, converting load power signal into current or voltage signal, converting it into pulse signal frequency followed by counting number of pulses as measurement result. Novelty in first option is that total signal characterizing load current is shaped as sum of two signals one of which is proportional to sum and other, to difference of currents flowing in phase and neutral conductors. In addition, current and voltage signal is converter into pulse signal frequency independently of load power direction. Second option os characterized in that current difference signal in total signal is accounted for including its polarity corresponding to its direction determined by polarity of respective power. EFFECT: simplified measurement procedure and improved measurement accuracy under normal conditions and in case of intervention for stealing electricity. 9 cl, 4 dwg
