FIELD: electro-measuring equipment engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has external power sensor connected before switching in construction of power line, and base block, connected after switching in construction of base power line. Base block has receiver, phase cable current sensor and load voltage sensor, connected to multiplexer, which is connected to base signal handling block, indication block and distance data transmitting block. External power sensor contains phase cable current sensor, additional load voltage sensor, additional multiplexer of signals of both sensors connected to additional block of mathematical signals handling, which is connected to high frequency transmitter.

EFFECT: possible detection of electrical energy thefts and their types.
