FIELD: design of color kinescopes. SUBSTANCE: method involves search for optimal ratio of increment of color separation mask and increment of line scanning for arbitrary size of color kinescope using variation of scanning line space for color kinescope of known screen size and color-separation mask of known hole space until moire effect is eliminated. This results in possibility to detect optimal space between holes in color-separation mask for color kinescope of known screen size or to detect optimal color kinescope screen size for color-separation mask of known hole space.
