FIELD: TV equipment, computer games, training equipment, three- dimensional image visualization in scientific research. SUBSTANCE: method involves conversion of electric signals of alternating half-frames of stereo-pairs to optical image. Each element of image in half-frame includes brightness and color signals and signals of addresses of line and frame scanning. Before converting electric s signals of half-frames into optical image, coordinates of eyes of observer are detected and optical image of half-frame is generated in direction of corresponding eye. This is achieved by means of generation of information image of half-frame on information panel and use of baffle-plate panel for generation of information flow which is synchronous to information panel and is emitted from working region of information panel and directed towards observer eye for which this picture is generated. Line scanning is performed in vertical plane when decomposition elements are located in columns, half-frame scanning is performed in horizontal plane. Horizontal half-frame scanning of information image is done in synchronism with generation of vertical traveling slots on baffle-plate panel. When half-frame for left eye is generated, columns and slots are moved from right to left. When half-frame for right eye is generated, columns and slots are moved from left to right. Right border of light spot on observer's face from information flow for left eye and left border of light spot on observer's face from information flow for right eye are located on face symmetry axis. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 4 cl, 10 dwg
