FIELD: separation of mixtures in cooling liquids; cooling electrolyte at zinc smeltery. SUBSTANCE: separator is provided with additional guide member made in form of rectangular blades located at right angle relative to axis of housing and mounted on outlet branch pipe between its inlet and outlet holes. Outlet chamber has larger diameter as compared with central chamber and bevelled end wall. Baffle plate mounted at inlet hole of outlet branch pipe is used to ensure passage of flow to additional guide member. It is made in form of hollow body of revolution including housing made in form of cylindrical ferrule whose ends are engageable with cone and inverter truncated cone, separating member and disk.
