FIELD: heat-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: double- pipe heat exchanger consists of outer pipe 1 and inner pipe 2. Outer surface of inner pipe 2 at inlet of inter-pipe space is provided with fins 3 made at acute angle relative to axis of heat exchanger forming curvilinear passages 4 and with fins 5 at outlet of inter-pipe space which are parallel to axis of heat exchanger forming straightline passages 6. Heat exchanger is also provided with outer envelope 7 and inner envelope 8 forming spaces with outer pipe 1 and inner pipe 2, respectively. These inter-pipe spaces are provided with fins 9 which may be circular in shape with slots 10 and partitions 11 forming inter-fin circular or helical passages 12 and 13 for flow of medium. Heat exchanger is also provided with supply branch pipe 14 and discharge branch pipe 15 for medium to be cooled, cooling medium supply branch pipes 16 and 17 and cooling medium discharge branch pipes 18 and 19; heat exchange is also provided with end walls 20 and 21. Branch pipe 14 for supply of medium to be cooled is tangential in shape. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg
