FIELD: pressure shaping; applicable in briquetting of polydispersed materials, for instance, peat, brown coal and similar materials. SUBSTANCE: press has loading chamber, pressing chamber communicating with channel for shaping briquettes, receiving chamber located under loading chamber, driving stamp, hollow for air discharge communicating with dust-removing system. Receiving chamber has outlet cross-section, at least, from one side parallel to direction of stamp motion, which is smaller than that in plan of loading chamber. Air discharge hollow is located along the above indicated side of loading chamber. EFFECT: higher efficiency of removal of air from press in course of briquetting and increased productivity of the press due to improved filling with briquetted material of pressing chamber. 3 dwg
