FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing briquetted peat and forage briquets. Method includes receiving polydisperse materials, preparation to drying, and drying. In drying operation, additional closed stream of materials with exceedingly wet particles is created. These materials are withdrawn, disintegrated, and returned into drier. Works has admission tank and feeder to feed material into drier with pneumatic separator. Drier is connected with furnace and with dust-setting means. There are also means to charge material into furnace, sluice feeder, press, smoke extractor, and milling fan with its inlet pipe connected to connecting pipe of pneumatic separator through which materials with elevated moisture content are discharged. Outlet pipe of milling fan is tangentially connected to drier. EFFECT: enhanced process efficiency. 5 cl, 1 dwg
