FIELD: water disinfection. SUBSTANCE: apparatus contains vertical cylindrical narrowing downward flow-through chamber with water-supply connection pipe, discharge pipe, and drainage pipe with valve. Chamber cap has opening where antenna-type irradiator descended into chamber is fastened. Irradiator is connected with generator of powerful nanosecond non- sinusoidal pulses. Water-supply connection pipe communicates with pressure source. Forced water stream is exposed to powerful pulse signal ruinous for bacteria and viruses because of both power of the signal itself and formation of active oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide and atomic oxygen in water.
