FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: treatment of acid sulfate solutions from solid suspensions and impurities is carried out by addition of ferric (+3) sulfate at pH = 5.5-6.6 and the following zinc precipitation at pH = 8.5-9.0. Then zinc precipitate is condensed, filtered and heated in autoclave to 130-170 C followed by filtration and drying. Method can be used in underground leaching and sewage treatment. EFFECT: improved method of extraction. 1 dwg, 3 tbl
