FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: extraction of copper from aqueous solution is performed using, as extract, industrial grease containing: oleic acid 10-12%; triethanolamine, 4.5-6.0%; and motor oil, pH value of solution being within the range 4 to 10 and controlled for no longer than 2 h. Extract-solution mixture is heated to boiling, and boiled for 1-5 min, whereupon predetermined pH value is controlled for 5-10 min. EFFECT: increased extraction degree, reduced cost, and improved safety. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 3 tbl
