SUBSTANCE: wind-power unit has shaped blades and starting Savonius rotor blades provided with vertical rods, counterpoises, links, guides, flexible members, and stops; Savonius rotor blades are free to move along crosspieces; vertical rods are secured to each vertical rib of each rotor blade; guides are, essentially, depressions on crosspieces; each counterpoise is joined on one side through link to vertical rod of one of blade edges and on other side to flexible member; it is free to move over guides; each flexible member also moves over guides and is joined on one end to crosspiece by means of stop.
