FIELD: wind power engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotor of the wind motor comprises vertical shaft having traverses 3, vertical blades 4 of wing-like profile rigidly secured to the ends of traverses 3, and control mechanism. Each blade 4 is provided with shield 5 positioned on the outer surface of blade 4 and pivotally connected to its front cover for permitting rotation about the chord of the profile from 0 up to 90 deg. Shield 5 has the form of the outer surface of the blade. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
